This visa allows skilled workers, nominated by their employer, to live and work in Australia permanently

Eligibility 

  • Must possess the necessary skills for the job

  • Must be nominated by an Australian employer

  • Must meet health and character requirements

Streams

Direct Entry Stream

  • Allows skilled workers, nominated by an employer, to live and work in Australia permanently

  • Must be nominated by an Australian employer

  • Occupation must be on the relevant list of eligible skilled occupations

  • Must have at least Competent English

  • Permanent visa

Labour Agreement Stream

  • For skilled workers nominated by their employer under a labour agreement

  • The employer must have a labour agreement

  • Permanent visa

Temporary Residence Transition Stream

  • For skilled workers nominated by their employer

  • Must hold a 457, TSS, or related bridging visa A, B, or C

  • Typically, must have worked full-time for the nominating employer for at least three years

  • Permanent visa
